Why Squirrel

WHY

SQUIRREL

During launching EMiNDS, we chose the squirrel to be our symbol as it reflects our work ethic as a whole team. These symbols are energy, balance, preparation, resourcefulness. It is uncommon for people to know that squirrels hide and save its food and return to it in the winter months. At EMiNDS, we take this as a sign to think of every possible resource that we could save for our clients including time. In addition, the use of squirrels reflects the old saying "what we sow is what we reap." This is reflected in our work ethic to treat our clients the very same way we want to be treated. It is also a strong message to us to be mindful of the metaphorical seeds we plant in our own work as these we will surely reap the fruitfulness and the consequences as well.

EMinds Value System

Our team’s own personal values and beliefs are reflected and put into EMiNDs’ own work ethic. These beliefs are summarized into four variables which are objectivity, diversity, confidentiality and integrity, and professionalism. These four beliefs are our benchmark to our deliverables as well as in our personal interactions with our clients.

OBJECTIVITY

Objectivity is where we present our clients with extremely straightforward information, let it be their favors or not. This also allows non-biased information to pass to our clients in order to make educated well-informed decisions. We also believe that transparency benefits the unit as a whole rather than the self, even if it is not to our favor and solely to the client’s favor.

DIVERSITY

The context of the word “Diversity” here is in the form of ideas. At EMiNDS, we truly believe that there is no such statement as “this idea is extremely senseless.” We accept all sorts of ideas to be taken into consideration and incorporated into our studies.

PROFESSIONALISM

Our work ethic and hard working team enable us to submit our deliverables in an extremely professional manner carefully tailored to each and every client’s mindset. We know that it is hard to find an entity that will be keen to deliver exactly what we want. That is why we set up meetings more often during the beginning stages prior to engaging with our clients just to understand the psychology of their own mindsets to be able to submit quality deliverables professionally. Once we feel that we understand enough the mindset of our clients, we submit a proposed engagement letter to start working on our deliverables.

CONFIDENTIALITY

We, as entrepreneurs, know for a fact the sensitivity of financial information for example when it comes to the entrepreneurial cycle. Therefore, confidentiality is one of our top priorities when it comes to client engagements. In reality, before we engage with any client we submit a confidentiality agreement from our end that whatever sensitive information that will be said, emailed, or written down will be confidential. The subject matter of the confidentiality agreement is subject to change based on the client’s needs just to make our clients be more trustful towards us. We know that trust is earned and not enforced. This also allows our clients to be more comfortable during our meetings to say or request whats on their minds without the need to neither sugar coat nor be restricted to say anything that would compromise their business. This openness and honesty allow our team and clients to extract quality ideas and to be able to execute what is in our clients’ heads that is absolutely required to innovate and perform.

INTEGRITY

Lastly, we believe that we need to treat our clients the very same way we want to be treated. Hence, it is apparent that we focus on delivering a sense of integrity to our clients and to always benchmark our work against it.
